Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Warehouse Operations Manager to lead a distributed warehousing network from a remote setting. You will develop strategies to optimize inventory control, order fulfillment, and overall efficiency while managing teams and processes virtually.

The role requires strong leadership of remote teams, deep knowledge of WMS and supply chain best practices, and a track record of driving cost reductions through data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in warehouse management and operations across sites or large facilities.
• Proven track record leading remote teams effectively.
• Strong knowledge of WMS, inventory control and supply chain best practices.
• Data analysis skills with KPI tracking and cost optimization.
• Strategic thinker with problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication for remote leadership and cross-functional collaboration.
• Experience with Lean or Six Sigma is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage strategies for efficient warehouse operations across multiple locations.
• Oversee end-to-end order fulfillment from receiving to shipping with accuracy and timeliness.
• Monitor KPIs and drive data-driven improvements to boost productivity and reduce costs.
• Lead remote warehouse teams, fostering high performance and accountability.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies in the warehouse.
• Collaborate with supply chain, procurement, and customer service to align ops with goals.
• Manage vendor relationships and procurement of supplies and equipment.
• Implement and optimize WMS for better efficiency and visibility.
• Analyze operations data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities.
• Drive automation and technology adoption in warehouse processes.
