Job summary

Placements24 seeks a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee remote-based, nationwide warehouse activities. You will lead a regional team, optimize inventory, and ensure safe, efficient order fulfillment while coordinating with procurement and transportation.

The role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and a solid understanding of warehouse management principles. You will drive continuous improvement and maintain safety standards across facilities.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as Warehouse Supervisor or in a similar role.
• Strong leadership of diverse teams.
• Knowledge of WMS and inventory control techniques.
• Familiar with health and safety regulations and best practices.
• Analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience with remote supervision is a plus.
• Degree or diploma in Logistics or related field advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, order picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of warehouse associates, ensuring high performance and adherence to policies.
• Implement and maintain efficient inventory management systems to ensure accuracy and minimize stock discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations within the warehouse.
• Develop and implement procedures to enhance efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness.
• Monitor KPIs and generate regular reports on warehouse operations.
• Collaborate with procurement and transportation for seamless supply chain.
• Manage equipment maintenance schedules and ensure optimal working order.
• Address and resolve operational issues and employee concerns promptly.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse.
