Placements24 is seeking a creative and highly organized Remote Event Planner to design, manage, and execute virtual events from inception to completion. This fully remote role allows you to leverage your event planning expertise from anywhere, focusing on creating engaging online experiences.

You will be responsible for conceptualizing event themes, managing virtual platforms, coordinating speakers, and ensuring seamless execution for a variety of clients, with Soweto and other locations in

Qualifications

• Proven experience in event planning, with a significant focus on virtual or hybrid events.
• Proficiency with virtual event platforms (e.g., Zoom Events, Hopin, Cvent).
• Excellent organizational, project management, and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for remote collaboration and client interaction.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
• Creative thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Develop event concepts, themes, and strategies for virtual and hybrid events.
• Manage all aspects of virtual event platforms, including registration, engagement tools, and technical support coordination.
• Source and liaise with virtual speakers, entertainers, and other online service providers.
• Create detailed project plans, timelines, and budgets for each event.
• Coordinate marketing and promotional activities for events.
• Oversee live event execution, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure a smooth attendee experience.
