Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Online Learning Facilitator to support university‑level courses in a remote setting, primarily serving learners around Bloemfontein. You will guide students through materials, moderate discussions, and provide timely feedback to promote success in a virtual environment.

You will collaborate with instructional designers and faculty to continually improve the platform and assessments, ensuring integrity and engaging experiences for diverse adult learners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any discipline, Master's preferred.
• Experience in online teaching, facilitation, or student support.
• Proficiency with LMS platforms such as Moodle, Blackboard, or Canvas.
• Excellent communication and time management skills; able to work remotely.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate asynchronous and synchronous online learning activities, fostering active student participation.
• Provide timely and constructive feedback on student assignments, discussions, and projects.
• Respond to student inquiries and provide academic support through various communication channels.
• Monitor student progress and engagement, proactively addressing any challenges or concerns.
• Collaborate with faculty and instructional design teams to update course content and enhance the online learning experience.
• Administer online assessments and ensure academic integrity within the virtual classroom.
