Job summary

Employmate Limited is seeking an experienced Outbound Sales and Business Development Manager to drive new business across the United Kingdom from a South Africa-based, fully remote role.

You will combine cold calling, email outreach and LinkedIn prospecting to build a robust sales pipeline, engage senior decision makers, qualify opportunities and progress them through the sales cycle to conversion.

Qualifications

• Experience in B2B outbound sales or new business development.
• Ability to generate qualified opportunities through proactive prospecting.
• Excellent cold calling and senior decision-maker engagement.
• Hunter mentality with capability to manage opportunities independently.
• Experience conducting discovery and qualification meetings.
• Experience progressing prospects through a B2B sales pipeline.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Comfort engaging UK-based decision makers remotely.
• Able to collaborate with international colleagues and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Conduct targeted outbound prospecting into identified UK organisations.
• Cold call senior decision makers across the United Kingdom.
• Engage prospects via telephone, email and LinkedIn; qualify to ICP.
• Arrange qualified meetings for client sales teams.
• Maintain CRM with prospect, activity and opportunity records.
• Follow outreach messaging, scripts and campaign strategies.
• Collaborate with Sales Operations to maximise campaign performance.
• Work toward activity and qualified opportunity targets.
• Progress opportunities through the sales pipeline to conversion.
• Support proposals and participate in commercial discussions.
• Initially collaborate with senior leadership during later stage meetings.
• Build and manage a sustainable UK pipeline; develop into full sales cycle owner.
