Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an organized Online Tutor Coordinator for a fully remote role. You will recruit, train, schedule, and monitor a team of online tutors delivering academic support across subjects in a virtual learning environment.

You will ensure high-quality tutoring, maintain performance records, liaise with tutors, and drive program effectiveness. A strong educational background and experience with LMS are required, with an emphasis on communication and organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field, or extensive experience in academic administration.
• Minimum of 3 years coordinating educational programs, tutoring, or managing a team, preferably in an online setting.
• Proven experience with online tutoring platforms and learning management systems.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide tutors effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, screen, and onboard qualified online tutors across a range of academic subjects.
• Develop and deliver training programs for tutors on effective online teaching strategies, platform usage, and student engagement techniques.
• Create and manage tutor schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and timely support for students.
• Monitor tutor performance through feedback, session reviews, and student progress reports.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for tutors, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and providing ongoing support.
• Maintain accurate records of tutor activities, student interactions, and program effectiveness.
