Placements24 is seeking a Learning Support Specialist for a fully remote role focused on tailoring academic assistance for students across ages and subjects. You will work with students, parents, and educators to identify needs, design individualized support plans, and implement effective interventions.

Responsibilities include assessments, plans, remote tutoring sessions, progress monitoring, and maintaining detailed records while keeping up-to-date with best practices in learning support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Psychology, Special Education, or related field.
• Master's degree preferred for advanced support roles.
• Proven experience as Learning Support Specialist, Tutor, or Special Education Teacher.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial assessments to identify learning strengths and challenges.
• Develop individualized learning support plans based on assessment findings.
• Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions, remotely and in hubs if available.
• Collaborate with parents and teachers to monitor progress and adjust strategies.
• Utilize digital tools and educational resources to enhance learning.
• Maintain detailed records of interactions, progress, and outcomes.
• Stay current with best practices in learning support and special education.
