Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Treasury Manager to lead treasury operations remotely from South Africa. You will oversee cash flow, liquidity, and risk management, while managing banking relationships and regulatory compliance.

The role requires at least 7 years in corporate treasury, strong TMS and financial modeling skills, and exceptional leadership for a remote team. A Bachelor's is required; a Master’s or CFA/CTP is highly desirable. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.
• Master's degree or professional qualification (CTP, CFA) is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash operations, including cash flow forecasting and reconciliation.
• Develop strategies to optimize cash utilization and liquidity.
• Oversee foreign exchange risk management and hedging activities.
• Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions.
• Monitor market conditions to inform funding and investment decisions.
• Ensure compliance with treasury policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
• Develop internal controls within treasury function.
• Prepare regular reports for senior management on treasury activities and financial position.
• Lead and mentor the treasury team in a remote work environment.
