Job summary

Network Finance seeks a Treasury Risk Manager to join its Financial Risk Management practice. You will lead engagements across treasury risk, ALM, liquidity management and balance sheet optimization for a diverse client base.

You will navigate evolving regulatory requirements, manage projects from inception to completion, and mentor junior colleagues while liaising with executive stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BCom Honours in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Risk Management, or related field.
• CA(SA), CFA, FRM, or similar professional qualification advantageous.

They are seeking a Treasury Risk Manager to join their Financial Risk Management practice and play a key role in delivering treasury, market risk, liquidity, and balance sheet management solutions to a diverse client base.

The successful candidate will lead strategic engagements, provide specialist treasury risk expertise, and support clients in navigating evolving regulatory requirements, financial risk challenges, and treasury transformation initiatives. Job Experience and Skills Required:

Education:

• BCom Honours in Finance, Commerce, Economics, Risk Management, or related field
• CA(SA), CFA, FRM, or similar professional qualification advantageous

Experience:

• Minimum 5 years' experience within Treasury Risk, Financial Risk, Banking, Financial Services, or Consulting
• Strong experience in treasury operations, liquidity management, and risk frameworks
• Proven stakeholder management and project leadership experience
• Understanding of treasury systems and transformation initiatives advantageous

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of ALM, FTP, liquidity risk, funding, and cash management
• Understanding of financial services regulatory frameworks
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Strong commercial acumen and client-facing capabilities
• Proven project management and leadership abilities
