Placements24 is seeking a Treasury Manager to oversee treasury operations in Kimberley, South Africa. The role focuses on liquidity management, cash flow forecasting, funding activities, and risk exposure mitigation, reporting to senior management.

The ideal candidate will have at least 6 years in treasury with strong analytical skills, experience in hedging and TMS, and leadership capability to engage with banks and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Finance or Economics required.
• 6+ years in corporate treasury or financial management.
• Strong knowledge of cash, liquidity and funding strategies.
• Proficiency in risk management, hedging and derivatives.
• Experience with treasury management systems (TMS) and financial modeling.
• Excellent analytical and leadership skills.

Responsabilités

• Manage daily cash operations and cash flow forecasting.
• Develop strategies to optimize cash balances and liquidity.
• Oversee funding activities including debt issuance and management.
• Identify and manage financial risks (interest rate and FX).
• Implement hedging strategies where appropriate.
• Maintain banking relationships and ensure treasury policy compliance.
• Prepare regular treasury reports for senior management and Board.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and tech adoption.
