Placements24 is seeking a Remote Customer Support Specialist for a leading online travel agency and hospitality solutions provider in South Africa. You will be the first point of contact for travelers, providing support via phone, email and chat regarding bookings, inquiries and issues related to accommodations and travel packages.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator, a natural problem-solver and passionate about travel.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, preferably in hospitality, travel, or tourism.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
• Proficiency in using customer support software and CRM systems.
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for bookings, modifications, cancellations, and inquiries.
• Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues in a timely, professional manner.
• Use CRM and support software to manage interactions and track resolutions.
• Educate customers on booking policies, travel requirements, and services.
• Escalate complex issues to appropriate internal teams when necessary.
• Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and resolutions.
• Contribute to team knowledge base with common issues and solutions.
• Identify opportunities to improve the customer experience.
• Adhere to SLAs and QA standards.
• Represent the company professionally in all communications.
