Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a diligent Telecoms Network Operations Specialist for a fully remote role. You will monitor, maintain, and optimize telecommunications network infrastructure, ensuring stability and quick incident resolution from a home office.

The ideal candidate will have 2–4 years in telecom network operations or similar IT support, solid TCP/IP knowledge, and experience with Nagios or Zabbix. Remote work offers flexible hours and opportunities for training in network operations.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent in a relevant technical field.
• 2–4 years in telecom network operations or similar IT support role.
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, DNS.

Responsibilities

• Monitor network performance and security using monitoring tools and respond to alerts.
• Perform routine network health checks and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity, performance, and equipment issues.
• Assist with configuration of network devices and services.
• Document configurations and incident resolutions; collaborate with IT teams and vendors.
