About the Role

Our client, a rapidly expanding telecommunications infrastructure provider, is seeking a highly experienced Remote Telecoms Engineer to join their global network operations team. This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere. The engineer will be responsible for the design, implementation, and optimization of complex telecommunications networks, focusing on ensuring high availability, performance, and security. This role requires a deep understanding of network protocols, hardware, and software across various platforms, with a specific emphasis on next-generation networks. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, capable of working independently and collaboratively within a distributed team, contributing to the backbone of critical communication services from their home base, potentially near Kimberley, Northern Cape , but not limited to a specific location.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, configure, and deploy telecommunications network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and servers.
