Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Telecommunications Operations Manager to lead a remote operations team responsible for the stability, performance, and security of the company’s telecom infrastructure. You will guide engineers in monitoring, maintaining, and troubleshooting networks, while implementing best practices and process improvements.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in telecom operations, strong leadership, and a deep understanding of network technologies and ITIL.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 6 years of experience in telecommunications operations management.
• Proven experience in leading and managing remote teams effectively.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, protocols, and telecommunications technologies.
• Experience with ITIL best practices and service management frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead a remote team of network engineers and technicians.
• Oversee the performance, availability, and security of telecom systems.
• Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Manage incident response, troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Oversee network capacity planning, monitoring and maintenance.
• Collaborate with projects and engineering for new deployments.
