Placements24 is seeking a Senior Telecoms Operations Manager to lead a distributed, remote team responsible for the company’s telecommunications infrastructure, ensuring uptime, reliability, and service quality.

You will drive operational excellence, implement policies, manage incidents, SLAs, budgets, and collaborate with engineering, support, and sales to deliver outstanding customer experiences in a remote-first environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 7+ years in telecom operations management, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role.
• Experience managing geographically dispersed teams and remote operations.
• Strong understanding of telecom network technologies and OSS/BSS.
• Excellent leadership and communication in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead a remote team of telecom operations specialists and engineers.
• Oversee the operational performance of the telecom network, ensuring uptime, QoS, and adherence to SLAs.
• Develop and implement operational strategies, policies, and procedures to drive efficiency.
• Manage incident response, problem management, and change management processes.
• Collaborate with engineering, customer support, and sales to ensure seamless service delivery.
• Monitor budgets and control costs while maintaining service quality.
