Placements24 is seeking a visionary Telecom Solutions Architect to join a fully remote team supporting operations across George and beyond. You will design scalable telecommunications solutions leveraging IP networking, 4G/5G, cloud platforms, and virtualization to meet diverse client needs.

The role emphasizes collaboration with sales, product management, and engineering, plus evaluating emerging technologies to strengthen service offerings and drive innovation in a remote work environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 7+ years in telecommunications or network architecture with a focus on design.
• Strong knowledge of IP networking, 4G/5G, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and virtualization.
• Experience defining and architecting solutions for enterprise clients and service providers.
• Excellent communication and remote-collaboration skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities to articulate complex concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design end-to-end telecommunications solutions, including network architecture, service platforms, and integration strategies.
• Collaborate with sales, product management, and engineering to translate customer requirements into technical designs.
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies to enhance offerings and competitive advantage.
• Develop detailed specifications, architecture diagrams, and proof-of-concept implementations.
• Provide expert technical guidance during pre-sales and implementation phases.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in telecommunications and cloud computing.
