Placements24 is seeking a strategic Telecom Operations Manager to oversee the network operations for a fully remote role. You will lead a team of network engineers and technicians, ensuring high availability, reliability and performance of the telecommunications infrastructure.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in telecom operations, strong leadership, incident management experience, and the ability to drive process improvements remotely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
• 5+ years of experience in telecommunications operations, with at least 2 years in a management role.
• Strong understanding of network infrastructure, protocols, and monitoring tools.
• Proven ability to lead and manage remote teams effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the telecommunications network, ensuring high availability and performance.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of network operations engineers and technicians.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to enhance efficiency and service delivery.
• Manage incident response and problem resolution processes to minimize service disruptions.
• Collaborate with other departments to plan and execute network upgrades and new service deployments.
