Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled Remote Network Security Specialist to join its cybersecurity team, working entirely remotely to protect telecom network infrastructure from evolving threats.

You will design, implement, and manage security controls, conduct vulnerability assessments, and respond to incidents, with a focus on confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in network security, with telecom sector emphasis.
• Strong knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, and encryption.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GIAC are highly desirable.
• Ability to work independently in a remote capacity.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain security protocols across the telecom network.
• Monitor traffic for breaches and initiate incident response.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration tests.
• Develop and enforce security policies for access and data protection.
• Manage firewalls, IDPS, VPNs and other tools.
• Stay updated on threats and mitigation for telecom infra.
