SupportYourApp is seeking a Technical Support Consultant for short-term engagement with potential to continue long-term. You will provide professional technical support via email and chat, troubleshoot issues, and guide customers through solutions while maintaining a high-quality experience.

The role requires excellent English (C1), at least 1 year in tech support, and a tech-savvy mindset. Remote work is fully supported, with compensation in USD and a focus on customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Excellent English communication skills (C1 level for spoken and written).
• At least 1 year of experience in technical customer support.
• Video support experience is a plus.
• Tech-savvy mindset.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Critical thinking with practical, analytical approach to resolving issues.
• Personal computer with at least 8GB RAM and stable internet (50 Mbps down / 40 Mbps up).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support via email and chat in a professional and efficient manner.
• Troubleshoot product issues and guide customers through solutions step-by-step.
• Identify whether an issue is related to the bulb, app, connectivity, setup, or user configuration.
• Ask the right questions to understand and diagnose the problem.
• Follow troubleshooting procedures while using good judgment when not covered by a standard process.
• Document customer interactions and troubleshooting steps clearly.
• Escalate complex or unresolved technical issues when necessary.
• Provide a positive, patient, and professional customer experience.
• Manage multiple conversations efficiently while maintaining accuracy and quality.
