Job summary

SupportYourApp is seeking a proactive Technical Support Consultant to join on a short-term basis with potential to continue. You will provide technical support via email and chat, troubleshoot product issues, and guide customers through solutions in clear English.

The role requires at least 1 year of experience in tech customer support, strong problem-solving, and a tech-savvy mindset. Remote work is encouraged, with compensation paid in USD and a flexible, candidate-centric culture.

Qualifications

• Excellent English communication skills (C1+ for speaking and writing).
• At least 1 year of experience in technical customer support.
• Previous video support experience is a plus.
• Tech-savvy mindset with strong troubleshooting abilities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and practical, analytical approach.
• Personal computer with at least 8GB RAM and a stable internet connection.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support via email and chat in a professional and efficient manner.
• Troubleshoot product issues and guide customers through solutions step-by-step.
• Identify whether issues relate to bulb, app, connectivity, setup, or user configuration.
• Ask the right questions to understand and diagnose the problem.
• Follow troubleshooting procedures while using good judgment when not covered by a standard process.
• Document customer interactions and troubleshooting steps clearly.
• Escalate complex issues when necessary.
• Provide a positive, patient, and professional customer experience.
• Manage multiple conversations efficiently while maintaining accuracy and quality.
