Qualifications
- Admitted attorney with at least 6 years of technology law experience.
- Strong IP, data privacy, and contract law knowledge.
- Excellent drafting, analytical, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting and collaborate with technical teams.
Responsibilities
- Advise on software licensing, SaaS agreements, and technology contracts.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations like POPIA and GDPR.
- Protect and manage the company's IP portfolio, including patents and trademarks.
- Draft and review technology-related contracts and policies.
- Stay updated on legal developments in technology, cybersecurity, and digital law.
- Support product teams on legal aspects of new technology launches.
