Placements24 is seeking a Remote Subsea Systems Engineer to support global offshore projects from anywhere. You will design, analyze, and ensure integrity of subsea production systems, including pipelines, structures, and equipment, with a focus on deepwater and harsh environments.

The role requires a Master’s in Mechanical or Civil Engineering, 7+ years subsea experience, and proficiency with ANSYS or Abaqus, plus API and DNVGL codes.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Mechanical or Civil Engineering with offshore/subsea focus.
• 7+ years of subsea systems engineering experience in Oil & Gas or offshore renewables.
• Proficient in FEA software (ANSYS, Abaqus) and subsea design/analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote engineering support for design, analysis, and fabrication of subsea production systems and equipment.
• Perform stress, fatigue, and integrity analysis of subsea pipelines, risers, and structures.
• Develop and review technical specifications, drawings, and procedures.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Troubleshoot technical issues during installation and operation.
• Ensure compliance with API, DNVGL and regulatory standards.
• Participate in HAZID/HAZOP and safety workshops remotely.
• Assist in qualification and selection of subsea equipment and materials.
• Contribute to development of new subsea technologies.
• Maintain technical documentation and project reports.
