Placements24 is seeking a Senior Subsea Field Engineer for a fully remote role supporting global offshore assets. You will provide expert remote technical support, diagnose issues, and guide offshore teams to maintain production uptime.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and at least eight years in subsea operations, with strong knowledge of trees, manifolds, control systems, and offshore procedures.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of subsea field operations and support experience in Oil & Gas.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex subsea equipment and control systems.
• Strong remote communication and independent work capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide remote technical support and troubleshooting for subsea production systems.
• Analyze operational data and performance metrics to identify potential issues.
• Guide offshore personnel through complex maintenance and repair procedures.
• Develop detailed technical reports and recommendations based on field observations.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and project management teams to resolve technical challenges.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of subsea equipment and operational procedures.
• Assist in the planning and preparation for offshore interventions.
• Maintain expert knowledge of subsea hardware, software, and control systems.
• Mentor junior field engineers and support staff.
