Placements24 is seeking a Senior Subsea Engineer to join a fully remote team in the Oil & Gas sector. You will lead the design, development, and implementation of subsea systems from a home office, ensuring integrity and efficiency of production equipment worldwide.

The role requires 8+ years of subsea experience, strong CAD/FEA/CFD capabilities, and the ability to manage projects remotely while adhering to safety and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Marine Engineering and 8+ years subsea experience.
• Master's degree is advantageous.
• Proficiency with CAD/FEA/CFD software and subsea design knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptualization, design, and analysis of subsea production systems.
• Develop technical specifications for subsea equipment and services.
• Oversee detailed engineering, fabrication, and installation of subsea hardware.
• Perform engineering calculations and simulations under operational conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure project execution.
• Conduct technical reviews and risk assessments for subsea projects.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for subsea assets.
• Ensure compliance with API, ISO, and best practices; mentor junior engineers.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure quality of subsea components.
