Qualifications

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering or closely related field.
• Pr. Eng. registration with ECSA is mandatory.
• 7+ years of proven experience in structural design for buildings.
• Proficient in ETABS, SAP2000, Revit Structure.
• Deep understanding of SANS 10160/10162.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for building projects using advanced software.
• Develop detailed structural drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Ensure structural designs comply with all relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Collaborate effectively with architects, project managers, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct site visits and inspections remotely or as required to verify construction progress and address any structural issues.
• Provide technical guidance and support to project teams throughout the design and construction phases.
• Review shop drawings and respond to contractor queries related to structural elements.
• Manage project deliverables and timelines efficiently, maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in structural engineering techniques and materials.
