Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Remote Structural Design Engineer to perform advanced structural analysis for buildings, bridges, and industrial facilities from a home office. You will develop drawings, specifications, and calculations using CAD/BIM and collaborate with distributed teams across projects worldwide.

The role requires PE licensure, 5+ years of experience, and strong knowledge of Eurocodes/AISC, with excellent remote collaboration skills and a drive for precision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in structural design for diverse projects.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent international certification.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (SAP2000, ETABS, STAAD.Pro) and Revit/BIM.
• Knowledge of international codes (Eurocodes, AISC) and local SA standards.
• Excellent remote communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for buildings, bridges, and industrial facilities.
• Develop detailed drawings, specifications, and calculations using CAD/BIM.
• Collaborate remotely with project teams to understand design requirements.
• Conduct peer reviews of structural designs and calculations.
