Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an Account Manager to nurture and expand mining client relationships in the Polokwane and Limpopo region. This remote-first role focuses on understanding client challenges and aligning our mining technology solutions to drive value and growth.

You will upsell, renew contracts, and coordinate with internal teams to meet client needs. The ideal candidate brings sales or account management experience in mining tech, excellent communication, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Proven experience in account management, sales, or business development in mining or related technical fields.
• Strong client relationship building and stakeholder management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to client sites in Polokwane.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of existing mining accounts in Polokwane and Limpopo.
• Develop and implement account growth strategies to increase revenue through upselling and cross-selling.
• Act as main point of contact, building and maintaining long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
• Conduct regular check-ins and business reviews to ensure client satisfaction.
• Communicate client needs to internal teams and coordinate solutions.
• Stay updated on mining tech trends and competitive offerings.
• Achieve and exceed account revenue and retention targets.
• Ensure timely renewal of contracts and services for all accounts.
