Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a strategic Senior Solar Energy Consultant to join their fully remote team. You will guide businesses and individuals through solar adoption from assessment and design to financing and implementation, servicing Rustenburg and beyond.

You will develop proposals, financial models, and tailored strategies, manage client relationships throughout projects, and collaborate with installers and engineers to ensure seamless execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business, or related field.
• 5-7 years in solar energy sales, consulting, or project management.
• Proven track record of closing complex deals and managing client portfolios.
• Strong understanding of PV systems, energy storage, and grid interconnection.
• Excellent presentation, negotiation, and remote client interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site assessments and energy audits for optimal solar solutions.
• Develop detailed proposals and financial models for solar installations.
• Advise clients on incentives, rebates, and financing options.
• Manage client relationships across the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with installation partners and technical teams for execution.
• Stay current with solar tech, policy changes, and market trends.
