Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Remote Solar Energy Project Manager to lead solar initiatives from design through commissioning, all from a home office.

You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and ensure projects align with strategic energy goals across regions.

Requires an engineering degree, 5+ years in project management for solar/renewables, and strong remote leadership, communication, and negotiation skills. PMP is a plus; MS Project or Asana proficiency is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive project management experience in solar/renewable energy.
• Demonstrated success managing complex projects with remote teams and dispersed stakeholders.
• Proficiency with project management software (MS Project) and collaboration tools (Asana).
• Strong leadership, communication, and negotiation skills for remote environments.
• Solid understanding of PV systems, components, and installation best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage all phases of solar energy projects from planning to commissioning.
• Develop detailed project plans with scope, timelines, budgets, and resources.
• Coordinate with remote engineering teams, contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders.
• Monitor progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental policies.
• Oversee project documentation, reporting, and financial oversight.
