Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Remote Solar Farm Operations Manager to direct day-to-day operations across distributed solar facilities. This fully remote role emphasizes leadership, technical solar PV expertise, and remote management of multiple sites to maximize energy output and minimize costs.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering and at least 8 years in large-scale solar O&M, with proven success leading remote teams and managing budgets and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in operations and maintenance of large-scale solar power plants.
• Demonstrated experience in managing remote teams and distributed operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the operational performance of multiple solar farms, ensuring maximum energy generation and grid uptime.
• Manage and mentor remote operations and maintenance teams, setting clear performance expectations and providing support.
• Develop and implement proactive maintenance strategies, including preventative and corrective maintenance programs.
• Monitor KPIs such as energy yield, availability, and operational expenses, taking corrective action as needed.
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations across all sites.
• Manage relationships with service providers, component suppliers, and regulatory bodies.
