Placements24 is seeking a proactive Farm Operations Manager for a fully remote role. You will oversee day-to-day agricultural operations, manage remote teams, allocate resources, and implement strategic plans to optimize productivity and profitability.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or related field, at least 5 years in farm management, and proven experience coordinating teams via virtual tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Farm Management, Business Administration, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in farm management or agricultural operations.
• Demonstrated experience in remote team management and utilizing virtual collaboration tools.
• Strong knowledge of agricultural best practices, including crop cultivation, pest control, and soil health.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans for farm operations, including crop planning, resource allocation, and budget management.
• Oversee remote teams, including farmhands, agronomists, and equipment operators, ensuring clear communication and task delegation.
• Monitor crop progress, environmental conditions, and operational efficiency using data and remote sensing technologies.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant agricultural regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
• Manage inventory of supplies, equipment maintenance schedules, and procurement processes.
