Placements24 is seeking a highly skilled remote Technical Support Engineer to join a fast-growing software company. You will deliver advanced technical support to a diverse client base, diagnose issues, and ensure optimal system performance from your home office.

The role requires strong diagnostic skills, experience with Windows, macOS and Linux, scripting (Python/Bash), and familiarity with Zendesk and Jira.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in technical support for complex software.
• Proficiency across Windows, macOS, and Linux.
• Experience with scripting languages (Python, Bash).
• Familiarity with Zendesk and Jira.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Able to work independently in a remote environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced technical support to customers via phone, email, and remote tools.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software/hardware issues.
• Document issues and solutions in a knowledge base.
• Escalate unresolved issues to senior engineers or development teams.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, and Product Management to resolve issues.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, FAQs, and user guides.
• Contribute to product improvements by reporting recurring issues.
• Participate in on-call rotation as needed.
