The role focuses on crafting and executing engaging social media strategies, developing content calendars, and producing diverse formats to boost brand awareness, engagement, and online traffic.

This remote-friendly position allows work from anywhere in SA. You will create compelling copy, collaborate with the design team, monitor performance, and stay ahead of trends.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in social media management and content creation, preferably in an e-commerce context.
• Excellent copywriting and editing skills with a strong understanding of brand voice.
• Proficiency in using social media management tools and basic design tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging social media strategies across platforms.
• Create, curate, and schedule high-quality content, including posts, stories, reels, and graphics.
• Write compelling copy for captions, ads, and other materials.
• Monitor channels and engage with online communities.
• Analyze performance metrics and provide insights for optimization.
• Collaborate with design to create visuals and videos.
• Stay updated on trends and best practices in social media for e-commerce.
• Assist in social media advertising campaigns.
