Zusammenfassung

Placements24 is seeking a passionate Social Inclusion Officer to join a fully remote team serving Randburg, Gauteng and beyond. You will develop and implement inclusion initiatives, engage diverse stakeholders, and empower communities to participate in social and civic life.

Responsibilities include program design, research, partnerships with government and NGOs, training delivery, events, and evaluation of impact.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, Public Policy, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in community development, social inclusion initiatives, or advocacy.
• Proven experience in program design, implementation, and evaluation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, including community groups, government officials, and NGOs.

Aufgaben

• Design and implement strategies and programs to enhance social inclusion for diverse community groups.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify barriers to inclusion and areas for intervention.
• Engage with community members, local organizations, and government agencies to build partnerships.
• Develop and deliver training sessions on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
• Organize community events and awareness campaigns to promote social cohesion.
• Monitor and evaluate the impact of inclusion initiatives, reporting on outcomes and areas for improvement.
• Provide support and advocacy for individuals facing discrimination or exclusion.
• Manage project budgets and resources effectively.
• Stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends in social inclusion and community development.
• Create accessible communication materials and resources for diverse audiences.
