Placements24 is expanding its Security Operations Center and seeks a skilled Tier 2 SOC Analyst for a fully remote role. You will investigate complex alerts, conduct in-depth incident analysis, and lead response efforts while acting as a senior escalation point for Tier 1 analysts.

You will work in a 24/7 security monitoring environment, applying threat intel and attack methodologies to protect digital assets.

Qualifications

• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
• Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fully remote, shift-based environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, IT or related field; relevant certs valued.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze security alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, and EDR tools.
• Investigate and validate security incidents, perform forensic analysis, define scope and impact.
