Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a skilled Security Operations Center (SOC) Analyst to join our distributed team remotely, supporting Centurion operations. You will monitor security alerts 24/7, perform initial triage, and coordinate incident response to protect critical assets.

The role requires hands-on SIEM experience, threat intelligence familiarity, and solid knowledge of networks, OS, and cloud security. Excellent analytical skills and calm under pressure are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 2 years in a SOC or related cybersecurity role.
• Hands-on SIEM experience with Splunk, QRadar or LogRhythm.
• Understanding of cyber threats, attack methods and incident response.
• Familiarity with networks, operating systems and cloud security.

Responsibilities

• Monitor SOC dashboards and alerts 24/7 for incidents.
• Perform initial triage and in-depth analysis of alerts.
• Respond to incidents per defined procedures with teams.
• Leverage threat intelligence to identify new threats.
• Document incidents, investigations and remediation actions.
• Contribute to SOC process and tool improvements.
