Qualifications

• Master's degree required in business/finance/risk disciplines or equivalent.
• Proven track record in leading underwriting teams and driving profitable growth.
• Strong knowledge of underwriting principles and pricing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute underwriting strategies aligned with business goals.
• Lead and mentor the underwriting team, set performance standards.
• Oversee risk evaluation and pricing of complex risks.
• Collaborate with product teams to design new insurance offerings.
• Monitor performance, analyze loss ratios and identify trends.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and policy adherence.
• Build relationships with brokers and distribution partners.
• Conduct market research to identify opportunities and threats.
• Implement efficient underwriting guidelines and procedures.
