Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (SCM, Logistics, IE, Data Science) or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in supply chain analysis, logistics or operations with data-driven decisions.
• Experience in data analysis, modeling and forecasting techniques.
• Proficient in Excel, SQL, Python or R, and BI tools (Tableau/Power BI).
• Strong understanding of inventory management, warehousing and transportation.
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Ability to explain complex data to non-technical audiences and manage multiple projects.
• Experience with supply chain planning software is a plus.
• Willingness to travel occasionally to Paarl, Western Cape.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and cost reduction opportunities.
• Develop and maintain supply chain models to forecast demand, optimize inventory, and manage network flows.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, operations and sales to implement improvements.
• Evaluate and recommend solutions for transportation, warehousing, and inventory management challenges.
• Prepare regular reports and presentations on supply chain performance and improvements.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses for proposed supply chain initiatives.
• Stay updated on best practices and emerging technologies in supply chain management.
• Support the implementation of new supply chain systems and processes.
• Provide analytical support for strategic sourcing and vendor management.
• Contribute to long-term supply chain strategies for the Paarl area and beyond.
