Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a highly analytical Remote Supply Chain Analyst to join a global team. This fully remote SA-based role focuses on inventory, transportation, and warehousing optimization with data-driven decision support.

You will develop dashboards, model scenarios, and collaborate across procurement, logistics, and operations to drive cost reductions and efficiency gains. A strong quantitative background and experience in a remote environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Research, Statistics, Economics, or related quantitative field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in supply chain analysis, operations, or logistics.
• Proficient in Excel (advanced functions, VBA), SQL, and data visualization tools (Tableau/Power BI).
• Strong understanding of supply chain principles, inventory management, and logistics.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience working remotely with cross-functional teams is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze supply chain data to identify trends, bottlenecks, and improvement areas.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and reports for key metrics.
• Optimize inventory levels to balance costs and availability.
• Evaluate routes and modes for cost savings and efficiency.
• Collaborate with procurement, logistics, and operations to implement strategies.
• Model scenarios to forecast demand and assess changes.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and vulnerabilities.
• Assist with selection and implementation of SCM technologies and tools.
• Develop recommendations for process improvements and cost reductions.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and trends.
