Placements24 is seeking a Remote Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and analysis for diverse building projects worldwide. This role requires strong leadership, advanced modeling with ETABS, SAP2000, Revit Structure, and Tekla, plus rigorous knowledge of seismic and wind loads.

You will mentor juniors and collaborate with international teams from a fully remote setup. Applicants should hold a Master’s in Structural or Civil Engineering, 8+ years’ experience, and strong communication skills

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Structural Engineering or Civil Engineering with a structural specialization.
• 8+ years of experience in structural engineering with a strong project portfolio.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent international registration is advantageous.
• Proficiency in advanced structural analysis software and BIM tools (ETABS, SAP2000, Revit Structure, Tekla).
• Deep knowledge of seismic design, wind analysis, and complex load considerations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, especially for remote collaboration.
• Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently and meet deadlines remotely.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating innovative and high-quality structural design solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead the structural design and analysis of complex building projects from concept through construction documents.
• Perform advanced structural calculations and modeling using ETABS, SAP2000, and BIM tools.
• Develop innovative structural systems meeting architectural and performance criteria.
• Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and design consultants in a virtual team environment.
• Ensure compliance with Eurocodes, IBC, and project-specific standards.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, specifications, and reports for tender and construction.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers.
• Review shop drawings, respond to contractor queries, and provide remote site support.
• Conduct peer reviews and stay current with advances in structural engineering technologies.
