Placements24 is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to lead design and analysis of complex structures in a fully remote environment. You will apply advanced software, oversee projects from concept to completion, and mentor junior engineers while coordinating with a dispersed team.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Civil/Structural Engineering, 8+ years of experience, PE licensure, and expert knowledge of seismic design and building materials.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in structural engineering design and analysis.
• Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent licensure is mandatory.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, or similar.
• Strong understanding of seismic design principles and materials (steel, concrete, masonry).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with clear articulation of complex technical information in a remote setting.

Aufgaben

• Perform advanced structural analysis and design calculations for buildings, bridges, and infrastructure using engineering software.
• Develop detailed construction drawings, specifications, and technical reports meeting building codes and standards.
• Review project designs, calculations, and documentation for quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with architects, PMs, and stakeholders to integrate structural solutions into plans.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers in a remote setting.
• Oversee structural aspects from conception to completion, including remote coordination and site visits as needed.
