Placements24 is seeking a senior Structural Design Engineer for a fully remote role servicing a variety of projects from commercial buildings to industrial facilities. You will develop robust structural solutions, perform detailed analyses, and prepare comprehensive design documentation while collaborating with a dispersed team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in structural design, preferably in consulting engineering.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software (Revit Structure, ETABS, SAP2000) and AutoCAD.

Responsibilities

• Conduct structural analysis and design for building structures, bridges, and other civil infrastructure.
• Prepare detailed structural drawings, calculations, and specifications using CAD and structural analysis software.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, and other engineers to ensure integrated design solutions.
• Perform site visits and inspections, liaising with site teams to resolve structural queries.
• Stay updated on advancements in structural engineering materials, technologies, and building codes.
• Ensure compliance with South African National Standards (SANS) and international best practices.
