Placements24 is seeking a Senior Smart Contract Engineer to lead the design, development and deployment of secure, gas-efficient contracts for a cutting-edge blockchain platform. The ideal candidate has 5+ years in software engineering with 3+ years in smart contract development, deep Solidity/EVM expertise, and a track record of secure, production-ready contracts
Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with at least 3 years focused on smart contract development.
- Expert proficiency in Solidity and deep understanding of the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM).
- Proven experience deploying secure, production-ready smart contracts.
- Familiarity with blockchain security best practices and common attack vectors.
- Experience with testing frameworks like Hardhat, Truffle, or Foundry.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy secure and gas-efficient smart contracts on Ethereum and other EVM-compatible blockchains.
- Write comprehensive unit and integration tests for all smart contract code.
- Conduct security audits and code reviews to identify vulnerabilities and mitigations.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define requirements and architecture.
- Optimize performance and reduce transaction costs for end-users.
