Placements24 is seeking a Senior Smart Contract Developer for a fully remote role, responsible for owning the lifecycle of smart contracts from conception to deployment and ongoing maintenance. You will safeguard core logic, write efficient code, and thrive in a remote-first environment with a global distributed team shaping decentralized finance and blockchain technology.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
Minimum of 6 years of software development experience, with at least 4 years dedicated to smart contract development.
Expertise in Solidity and experience with other smart contract languages (e.g., Vyper, Rust).
Thorough understanding of blockchain security best practices and common vulnerabilities.
Experience with testing frameworks (e.g., Hardhat, Truffle) and version control systems (e.g., Git).

Responsibilities

Design, develop, audit, and deploy secure and efficient smart contracts on various blockchain networks.
Implement complex decentralized finance (DeFi) protocols and associated logic.
Optimize smart contracts for gas efficiency and performance.
Collaborate with product teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications for smart contracts.
Contribute to the development of blockchain infrastructure and tooling.
