Placements24 is seeking a Senior Smart Contract Developer to join a fully remote engineering team. You will design, develop, and audit secure smart contracts across platforms, focusing on efficiency and security in decentralized applications.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in software development, deep Solidity/Vyper/Rust knowledge, and experience with Hardhat/Truffle. Remote role with collaboration across an distributed team worldwide.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience with a focus on smart contract development.
• Deep expertise in Solidity, Vyper, or Rust for blockchain applications.
• Strong understanding of blockchain fundamentals, cryptography, consensus mechanisms, and token standards (ERC-20, ERC-721).
• Experience with blockchain development frameworks (Hardhat, Truffle) and testing tools.
• Proficiency in security best practices for smart contracts and experience with security auditing tools.
• Excellent remote collaboration skills and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy secure and efficient smart contracts on various blockchain platforms.
• Write high-quality, audited, and well-documented code, adhering to best practices in blockchain development.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other engineers to translate requirements into robust smart contract logic.
• Conduct rigorous code audits and security reviews to identify and mitigate potential vulnerabilities.
• Optimize smart contract performance and gas efficiency for cost-effective operation.
