Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Social Media Manager for a fully remote role within South Africa. You will lead end-to-end social media strategy for a premier online retailer, spanning content creation, community management, and paid campaigns to drive brand growth and sales.

You will collaborate with marketing, creative, and product teams, manage budgets, and maintain a consistent brand voice across platforms. A strong background in ecommerce and influencer campaigns is a plus.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in social media management, with ecommerce focus.
• Proven track record delivering measurable brand growth and engagement.
• Strong knowledge of platform algorithms, ads, and analytics tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy aligned with ecommerce objectives.
• Oversee content creation, curation, and scheduling across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, X (Twitter).
• Manage online community and timely engagement.
• Design, execute, and optimize paid social campaigns to drive traffic and sales.
• Monitor trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities.
• Provide regular performance reports with actionable insights.
