Placements24 is seeking a creative and data-driven Remote E-commerce Social Media Specialist to join its expanding digital marketing team. You will craft engaging content and manage online communities to support e-commerce objectives, all from anywhere in South Africa.

In this fully remote role, you will develop campaigns across Instagram, Facebook and Pinterest, analyze performance metrics, and collaborate with ecommerce and design teams to drive traffic, conversions, and brand growth.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Social Media Specialist focusing on e-commerce.
• Strong content creation, copywriting, and visual sense.
• Ability to analyze data and translate into strategies.
• Experience with social media management & analytics tools.
• Comfort working remotely and managing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute social media campaigns to boost brand awareness and e-commerce sales.
• Create content formats: posts, stories, reels, short videos for IG/FB/Pinterest.
• Monitor channels and respond to inquiries professionally.
• Analyze metrics, track performance, and provide optimization insights.
• Collaborate with ecommerce and design teams for brand consistency.
