Placements24 is seeking a talented Smart Contract Developer to join a fully remote team and contribute to innovative decentralized applications. You will write, test, and deploy secure contracts on leading blockchain platforms, collaborating with a global team of engineers and product managers from your workspace.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in software development with 2+ years in smart contract work, strong Solidity skills, and experience with Truffle or Hardhat.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software development with at least 2 years in smart contract development
• Proficiency in Solidity and experience with Truffle or Hardhat
• Strong understanding of blockchain concepts including security vulnerabilities, gas optimization, and consensus mechanisms
• Experience with Web3 libraries such as Web3.js and Ethers.js
• Familiarity with Git and version control practices

Responsibilities

• Develop, audit, and deploy secure and efficient smart contracts using Solidity or similar languages
• Design and implement decentralized applications (dApps) that interact with smart contracts
• Write unit and integration tests for smart contracts to ensure functionality and security
• Collaborate with frontend and backend developers to integrate contracts into the application stack
• Stay updated on blockchain advancements and security best practices
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and performance issues in deployed contracts
