Placements24 in South Africa is seeking a Senior Risk Manager to lead enterprise risk management initiatives across the organization. This fully remote role offers the flexibility to work from anywhere within South Africa while shaping the company’s risk appetite and governance frameworks.

You will develop and oversee policies for market, credit, operational and strategic risks, mentor a team, and collaborate with internal audit and compliance to ensure robust controls and effective risk

Formación

• Master's degree required or equivalent in a quantitative field.
• 8+ years of risk management experience in financial services/insurance recommended.
• Strong knowledge of ERM frameworks and risk types.

Responsabilidades

• Develop and oversee enterprise-wide risk management frameworks, policies and procedures.
• Identify, assess and quantify key risks across market, credit, operational, compliance and strategic areas.
• Design and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls.
• Monitor and report risk posture to senior management and the board.
• Lead and mentor risk professionals and foster a risk-aware culture.
• Collaborate with internal audit, compliance and other departments to ensure integrated risk management.
