Placements24 is helping a leading real estate development firm fill the role of Real Estate Development Manager. This fully remote position is suitable for a strategic thinker with a proven track record of guiding complex development lifecycles from conception to completion.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 7 years of progressive real estate development experience, including feasibility studies, budgeting, and entitlements.

About the Role

Our client, a leading real estate development firm, is seeking a highly experienced and results-driven Real Estate Development Manager to join their fully remote team. This position is ideal for a strategic thinker with a proven track record in managing all phases of the real estate development lifecycle. Operating remotely, you will be responsible for identifying new development opportunities, conducting feasibility studies, securing entitlements, and overseeing the design and construction processes. This role demands exceptional project management skills, strong financial acumen, and the ability to navigate complex regulatory environments. While based within reach of **Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal, ZA**, the role is designed for remote work, offering unparalleled flexibility. Key Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential land acquisition and development opportunities.
• Conduct thorough feasibility studies, including market analysis, financial projections, and risk assessments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Development, Urban Planning, Civil Engineering, Finance, or a related field; Master's degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in real estate development, with a focus on managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Demonstrated success in leading complex development projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of zoning laws, land use regulations, and the permitting process.
• Expertise in financial modeling, pro forma development, and capital budgeting for development projects.
